The Consortium is made possible through grants from the Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration.

Here in Alaska, the Consortium has been proud to partner with the Trust since our beginnings in 2003, and we are the official peer-run advisory coalition of the Trust’s Beneficiary Project Initiative. The Consortium is the Alaskan member of the National Coalition of Statewide Consumer Survivor Organizations, a nationally influential policy advisory group; and we are one of the newest grantees in the diverse cohort of SAMHSA’s innovative array of Consumer Networking Projects around the country.

We also partner on projects with the Alaska Psychiatric Institute, the Alaska Mental Health Board and Alaska Board for Alcohol and Drug Abuse, and the University of Alaska.
